23 Apr Jolly Crock – ‘In The Making’
Waterline Challenge recently commissioned potter Leanne Berelowitz to make the Jolly Crock at her Sydney based Rose Bay studio.
It’s a unique design and features the Cock-A-Hoop Regatta logo plus JOLLY CROCK as a big Smiley!
It will be mounted on a dark cherry plinth thanks to Trophyland.
Waterline Challenge Founder Jolly (Julian) Day is most impressed with Leanne’s work – commenting,
“Leanne took my concept and turned it into a masterpiece”.
Jolly Crock is the Perpetual Trophy to be competed for by Sailing Clubs in the Cock-A-Hoop Regatta to be held this year on 4th October at Drummoyne Sailing Club.
In the spirit of Cock-A-Hoop which means “full of anticipation”, the Jolly Crock will proudly adorn the display cupboard of the winning Sailing Club for the following 12 months!
